Yet Another Word On Commitment!

Gads! You must be exasperated with me by now for all the time I talk to you about commitment! Heaven knows, that practicing voice lessons isn't exactly a priority in people's lives a general rule. Each person comes to the activity for his/her own reason. There are those of you who are seriously pursuing a career in performing and have auditions coming up, etc. We have students who are already accomplished singers and only need some coaching, like a pro-tennis player needs his coach for his entire pro-career, and then there are those who have never sung a note in their lives, but passionately want to. And there are those of you who sing simply because you love it.

It doesn't matter what the reason is...ANY reason is an important one to us here at Sing Your Life. We are dedicated to putting all our efforts in teaching you to sing, to read notes, or to accompany yourself on a keyboard or guitar. We care not only for the professionals in our midst who are about to be signed, but for those of you who just want to sing in your church choir with confidence and comfort, or audition for a Repertory Theater group or club date. This is what we do, and we love it more than anything!

When I talk about commitment, I am not speaking of promises you make to others. I am talking about the promise you make to YOU! Whether you go on with our other manuals or never get through the one you've been sent for visiting our site, I just want to encourage you to stick with it! Every one has a comfort zone, outside of which it may get a little scary sometimes. But each of you has a creative impulse than can conquer the comfort zone if you let it. To venture forth into strange lands for the specific intention of fully expressing the "YOU" of you, is not just a God-given right, it's your JOB in the world...Your purpose!
