Who are We?
In 1999, someone
suggested that since I was a singer and also a teacher, I
should put up a website.
I knew
nothing about web design, and had no clue what purpose a website
about me would have. But as I began the long hard journey of first
learning HOW to build it, and then actually starting it, something
strange happened inside of me. I began to imagine talking to singers all
over the world and helping them to fulfill their dreams...WHATEVER THAT
DREAM MAY BE.
Whatever the dream,
Sing Your Life Enterprises exists to help people turn those
dreams into realities! Our 4-volume "Art of Singing" series,
beginning with the technique manual, "A Voice for a Lifetime
in 30 Days", PLUS our audio practice aids, our background
accompaniments, our sheet music, and the rest of our
products and services are each geared to help singers of any
age achieve their goals for their talent.

When
I chose the phrase
Sing Your Life"
for our website, it was meant to represent a
philosophy of what I believe with all my
heart it takes to have an exquisite,
magnificent, glorious, and completely
captivating vocal performance. |

In the way of a brief bio, I
started out in New York City singing with college bands, had
my own radio show in Ithaca, NY before going on the road
with big bands like Les and Larry Elgart, Sy Zentner, and
the Tommy Dorsey orchestra with Frank Sinatra Jr. But not
before acquiring my degrees in Vocal Performance and
Education.
I settled in the
Los Angeles area with my trombone player husband and made
my living singing for 20 years in local nightclubs while
teaching young hopefuls to hone their craft.
I've been singing for a living since 1961, and while I still
perform at a variety of venues throughout the year, I have spent
most of the last 35 years teaching, coaching, and otherwise
mentoring others on how to fulfill their dreams of being a
singer. My students range in age from 15 - 70. The young students
learn discipline and good habits for keeping their voices strong and
powerful forever, and the older ones are rediscovering their dreams
of youth by learning techniques that have revitalized their voices
and their confidence! I am absolutely sure that I can teach anyone,
yes anyone how to sing and even more than that, become the singer
they have always dreamed of being!
